Maine: Day 6
It has been raining since last night. Mostly just local weather right now, but it has made it hard to see anything. We did make it to Thunder Hole before heading off the Island. What a neat place. The water has carved out a section of the rock leaving an empty pocket of air. When the waves crash against it they spray up and make a deep thundering sound.

We are making our way slowly back to Boston where we hope to leave from on Tuesday. Right now we are in Portland Maine again, staying in a wonderful fancy hotel Anson booked for us with his military rate. Driving here was fun. Now tropical storm Irene was gusty and threw lots of leaves onto the road but nothing severe. We ate at Moody's again and apparently the towns people had some power outages in the area.
With our free day tomorrow I hope we can explore some more of Portland.
