Indonesia Trip - More Photos from Day 2
To continue Day 2 of our trip I've quickly edited photos from my camera for you. These were taken from our walk around Sentani, though mostly when we were at HIS. In case you missed Anson's previous post about our day here is a link.
Walking up the hill to HIS, where I spent my middle and high school years. Along the way is a graveyard with lovely plumeria trees planted there.
Anson soaking in the view and capturing the sights with the camera phone.
A view of growing Sentani. Up here there is a nice breeze and always an amazing view of the sunset.
Inside the school gate, the sign with the waterfall in the distance.
Passing the housing for teachers, the school road here still looks the same 7 years later.
Showing Anson around the empty school grounds, about an hour after the kids had gone home for the day. Above, some of the high school lockers and the science room there on the right.
A better view of the waterfall and mountain.
The high school entrance to the library and paths leading to the computer lab.
The old elementary school bell.
Back in town and on the main road. This is the new mall and one of the many new restaurants we have yet to try. Notice anything familiar?
