Originally I thought I’d tackle to project without words but as I outlined and explored some of the early world and characters I quickly found that I wanted to give them voices. Thus began my journey to becoming an author.

Since a young age, creative writing has been something that I’ve enjoyed. In middle school I used to trade writing chapters to epic novels with my best friend. We were enamored with worldbuilding too, introduced to the world of Tolkien made up our own languages.

During my high school years I devoured novels ranging in genre from literary classics from Leo Tolstoy or Edgar Allan Poe to epic fantasy and sci-fi from Frank Herbert to Robert Jordan. Our international school library was small and limited but I loved exploring these other places, connecting with characters I loved.

Fast forward to about 2 years ago in a little hut in Hawaii, and you’ll find me picking up a sharpie and notepad, writing out the simple outline that would become my first book.
